  • The learner may change a maximum of 2 subjects in Grade 10, provided that this is done before 30 June of the Grade 10 year.
  • The learner may change 2 subjects in Grade 11, provided that this is done before 31 March.
  • After the release of the Grade 11 end-of-year results, the learner may, in exceptional cases, change one additional subject. This must be done before 15 December of the Grade 11 year.
  • No subject change may be made in Grade 12.
