The yellowish liquid made from carrots are full of beneficial nutrients for your eyes. To be more concise and precise, just 250 millilitres of this liquid has over 250% of the vitamin A you need for a day. This is also full of carotene and other compounds needed for good eye health.

Another thing in carrot that benefits your eye’s health is provitamin, this is been noted to reduce the kind of weaknesses or eye defect that people suffer as a result of old age. Carrot is however full of provitamins such as provitamin A. This also helps the eye to recover from any form of eye related condition.

Carrots are also a superb provider of carotenoids which helps to protect your eyes from any form of light that can destroy it. Two of these are zeaxanthin and lutein. According to research, the quantity of these in carrot  are so enormous that people who regularly eat carrots or who drink carrot juice turn to have a low chance of having their eyes damaged by light.

According some good studies, eating carrots regularly will help to put your immune system on high alert. There are other vitamins found in carrots which gives your body the protection and ability it needs to fight off diseases. Some of these are Vitamin C.
