Eshowe Hospital Nursing School Application. Becoming a professional nurse who is qualified to take provide quality heath care for patients, requires that, you need to go through a mandatory number of years of vigorous and quality training. This makes you eligible to take care of the sick, to offer public health education to the public, and be a preventive health advocate as well. After your training, you are expected to provide services that will meet the need of people not just in the physical sense but mentally and psychologically as well. You are expected to know what to do to ensure that your patients’ social well being is also as organized as possible.

It is with great pleasure to let you know that the Eshowe Hospital Nursing School Application for the year 2022/2023 has been opened for access.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

All those who are applying to the institution must first meet the needed prerequisites for the course the wish to study before they apply. This does not however guarantee and automatic admission as admission would also depend on the spaces available. Unlike other institutions, the application forms for Eshowe are available at the school’s administration department

You must at least have the following:

Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
Copy of your official tertiary academic record(s) (if applicable)
An Admission Point (AP) 30
Language of instruction 50%
40% in Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy 70%
60% in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences 50%

NB. Either Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy is required, as well as either Life Sciences or Physical Sciences.

Note: Please ensure that your application is attached with all the supporting documents including :

A medical certificate
A South African Identification card
Passport number for international students
A working cell number
A unique email address

How To Apply To The Esohwe Hospital Nursing School

The school accepts applications through emails or hard copy. This application will be considered and then the applicant would be invited for interview at a set date. You will have to prepare to pay R500. This amount is not refundable.

The courses offered in the Nursing College include the following;

Diploma in Nursing including General, Psychiatric, Midwifery Nursing Science and Community Health (Four Years Programme)

ADDITIONAL FEES TO BE PAID

R 130.00 for replacement of lost Identification Card R 110.00 for registration with South African Nursing Council as a Student R 220.00 per paper South African Nursing Council Exam Fee

Tuiton Fees

Tuition fees varies for learning programmes. The fees structure indicated is the amount payable by learners for the academic year. Tuition fees can only be paid via bank deposit for security reasons, unless otherwise stated. NB. Make sure that the bank deposit slip is either email, faxed or hand delivered to the accounts department. Fees may either be a once off cash payment or an initial deposit and in monthly installments. There is a 5% discount for once off CASH payments in FULL. For security reasons, no cash is handled at School. There is also a discount for Siblings, should they wish to study.
