Early signs of pregnancy

Early signs of pregnancy. To one that one is pregnant, she has to take a pregnancy test or do an ultrasound scan. But how does one get to suspect in the first place? Herein are a few early signs of pregnancy.

The very first things that show that a woman is pregnant might include not just missing your period but morning sickness, feeling tired, and then an increased sensitivity to smell.

Obviously, the dare of your last menstrual period is what will determine the first week of your pregnancy. Now, even if at the time of your last menstrual period you were not yet pregnant, it is considered your first week.

The moment conception occurs your body will immediately release a hormone known as human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), this is the hormone that causes the several symptoms women feel when they are pregnant. These are not the same for every woman.

1. Dizziness and headaches

The first period of a pregnancy will cause slight headaches and /or dizziness as a result of some variations in the quantity of fluids in the body.

One will find these signs as a result of a change in the amount of blood that is now circulating in their body.

It is not common for a woman to faint, there rarely occur, even though it is a possibility.

One can prevent this by drinking enough water each day, at least up to eight glasses.

2. Implantation bleeding

This normally happens because the egg that has been fertilized will plant itself to the wall of the uterus withing eight to ten days after your last ovulation. This is what will lead to a little bleeding known as spotting.

This can be expected at the time you normally would expect your menstrual cycle, most women mistakenly take this for their menstrual period!

This kind of bleeding is only for a short period of time, and is usually far light as compared to the normal period.

This kind of bleeding could sometimes come with the usual pain felt during the menstrual period and would stop on its own.

Once pregnancy comes with changes in the quantity of your hormones, these changes would cause a change in how sensitive your breasts become immediately pregnancy occurs. This is simply because of a change in the amount of blood that now flows into your breast tissues.

When this occurs, it becomes very uncomfortable putting on a bra as you might see your breasts swell, but this feeling may disappear after a short while.

4. Constipation or gas

The changes in the amount of hormones might and in some cases do have an effect on the digestive tract. This often slows down digestion and leads to constipation.

This occasionally will cause a bloating of your abdomen as gas will collect in your tummy.

To reduce this effect, take in high fiber foods.

5. Morning sickness

Most women would throw up early in the morning and feel nauseous as well. This is what has become known as early morning sickness. This would happen to a lot of women during the very early stages of pregnancy however for some women, it can elongate its period and happen to them for some time through out the pregnancy.

What happens is that, some foods and/or smells may cause them to vomit throughout the pregnancy period.

6. Changes in smells, and tastes

The moment conception occurs, one of the things that happens is that your cravings and appetites change, you begin to crave for certain things you usually wouldn’t be longing for. And might not want to smell others that you used to like, some women like to smell certain smells that usually they would not.

These Early signs of pregnancy would not be the same for all women, yours would be different from another.
